This 1985 British twin-disc edition of U2's sweeping single "The Unforgettable Fire" offers an excellent cataloguing opportunity for alternative rock vinyl fans. Released under the catalogue number ISD 220, this United Kingdom package houses two 7-inch records inside a beautifully designed gatefold card picture sleeve. The centre labels showcase Island Records' classic minimalist black and white design with a solid centre spindle layout. To complete the original presentation, both discs are nestled within die-cut black paper inner sleeves.

The dead wax areas contain definitive first-press stamped and etched matrix details across all four sides, reading ISD 2201 A-1U-1-3⇀5, ISD 2201 B-2U-1-1⇀3, ISD 2202 A-2U-1-3⇀9, and ISD 2202 B-1U-1-1⇀9. The primary side features the etched "GRAEME" signature, verifying the professional lacquer cutting work of legendary mastering engineer Graeme Durham. This double-pack is highly prized by collectors for including three previously unreleased tracks. The initial disc pairs the studio title track with a live version of "A Sort Of Homecoming", recorded at Wembley Arena and Good Earth Studios.
