This is a remarkable original 1971 UK first pressing of The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers, a cornerstone of rock history and the debut release on the band's own Rolling Stones Records label (COC 59100). This definitive edition features the iconic yellow and black labels in their earliest form, notably lacking the later “A Promotone N.V.” credit—a detail highly prized by purists.

The album is housed in the legendary Andy Warhol-designed zip picture sleeve, featuring the desirable small metal zip. This variant was introduced shortly after the very first release to replace the larger "Pan" zippers, which were notoriously prone to damaging the vinyl when stacked in shops. This copy remains an authentic first-batch cover, complete with the vital cardboard insert, which is often missing from contemporary sets. As is typical with this delicate design, there is some creasing on the buckle, but the sleeve remains structurally sound and visually striking.

From an audiophile perspective, this copy is a collector-quality example. The dead wax features the sought-after T.M.L. (The Mastering Lab) stamps and the A4 / B4 matrix suffixes, denoting a genuine early UK cut. These early pressings are famed for their punchy, dynamic sound on tracks like “Brown Sugar”, “Bitch”, and the atmospheric “Moonlight Mile”.

The condition is graded as VG+/EX. While the sleeve shows the standard wear associated with the zip mechanism, both the vinyl and the insert are in Excellent condition, retaining their original lustre and crispness. This is a superior example of a rock masterpiece, offering the perfect blend of historical significance and high-fidelity analogue sound.
