This is a superb 1968 UK stereo pressing of Out Of Our Heads, issued on the classic unboxed blue and silver Decca label. For the audiophile collector, this copy is distinguished by its 1W/1W matrix stamps (ZAL-6973-1W and ZAL-6974-1W), representing the definitive early stereo lacquers for this title. While the album was originally released in 1965, this late-60s stereo issue is highly regarded for its wide soundstage and clarity, offering a distinct perspective on the band's mid-60s R&B masterclass compared to the more common mono editions.

The record is housed in its original front-laminated picture sleeve, which remains in VG+ condition. The front laminate retains a vibrant, high-gloss finish, noted only for a thin, honest laminate bubble running down the left-hand edge near the spine. The sleeve remains structurally sound with a crisp opening. Critically, this copy remains complete with its original Decca polylined inner sleeve. The vinyl is in Excellent (EX) condition, displaying a brilliant factory lustre and deep black finish. It has been meticulously preserved, ensuring a clean and powerful listening experience across both sides.

Early stereo pressings of the Stones’ 1960s catalogue with 1W/1W matrices are increasingly difficult to source in this state of preservation. As collectors move towards completing their Decca-era archives, these high-fidelity stereo variants have become essential pieces of history. This is a high-quality collector-standard copy that captures the transition of the band's sound into the stereo era with exceptional detail. It remains a cornerstone addition for any serious Rolling Stones collector or 1960s rock enthusiast.
