This original 1964 UK first pressing of The Rolling Stones - "Little Red Rooster" 7-inch single is a great acquisition for any traditional rhythm and blues enthusiast. Published on the legendary Decca label under catalogue number F 12014, this authentic 45 rpm record features the highly collectable unboxed blue and silver label variant with the original 4-pronged push-out centre perfectly intact. As a verified initial production run from the winter of 1964, the label proudly displays the historic "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" text on the left face and includes the essential K/T tax code stamped on the surface. For vinyl collectors, the runout grooves carry the earliest 2C/2C master cutting stamps, reading XDRF-34216-T1-2C 3B KK on the A-side and XDRF-34215-T1-2C 1 GH on the B-side, delivering the raw, uncompressed studio sound exactly as it was meant to be heard.

The music tracks represent a defining moment in British pop culture, marking the only time a traditional Chicago blues track topped the UK singles chart. Side A features their brooding, slide-guitar-driven interpretation of the Willie Dixon standard "Little Red Rooster", showcasing Brian Jones at his absolute finest. Flip the disc over to Side B to enjoy the upbeat, driving garage-rock original composition "Off The Hook", which perfectly contrasts the dark, slow-burning blues of the main attraction.

This genuine mid-1960s piece of music memorabilia is graded in honest Very Good (VG) condition. The 7-inch vinyl surface exhibits a number of surface marks from decades of handling, but it retains its complete structural integrity. It presents a wonderful, affordable opportunity to add a historically significant, verified first-issue British Invasion single to spin on your home turntable setup.
