Vinyl connoisseurs and record collectors will immediately recognise the immense historical value of this genuine 1964 UK first pressing of The Rolling Stones - "Little Red Rooster" 7-inch single. Distributed on the premier Decca label under catalogue number F 12014, this authentic 45 rpm release features the iconic open unboxed blue and silver label architecture with the traditional 4-pronged push-out centre remaining beautifully intact. This initial production run includes the vital "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" text on the left-hand face and carries the mechanical K/T tax code stamped on the label. The ultimate highlight for advanced collectors lies in the runout vinyl, which boasts the absolute earliest 1C/1C matrix configurations: XDRF-34216-T1-1C KT 1 UU on Side A and XDRF-34215-T1-1C 1 BI on Side B, capturing the definitive, premier-cut audio directly from the initial factory lacquer.

The audio tracks captured on this disc represent a legendary milestone when raw, authentic American blues shook the British pop charts. The A-side presents their dark, atmospheric, slide-guitar-led rendition of the Willie Dixon blues classic "Little Red Rooster", an arrangement heavily shaped by the masterful musicianship of Brian Jones. Flipping the record over reveals the fast-paced, rhythmic band-penned number "Off The Hook", giving listeners an incredible window into the group's early creative evolution and remarkable studio presence.

This scarce early mastering variation is carefully graded in Very Good (VG) condition. The 7-inch vinyl displays a few visible cosmetic surface marks from historical handling over the decades. It offers a great opportunity for you to introduce a verified, premier-cut 1964 British Invasion artefact onto your own home turntable system.
