A marvellous find for collectors of early American rock and roll comes in the form of this 1960 vintage extended play from the legendary vocal duo. This scarce UK pressing is presented on the beautiful maroon and silver London Records label (Catalogue No. RE-A.1229) and features the highly desirable four-pronged push-out centre design. The release compiles four of their quintessential harmony tracks, with the first side offering "Problems" and "Love Of My Life", while the second side delivers "Take A Message To Mary" alongside "Poor Jenny".

The physical artefact boasts exceptional production lineage, verified by the earliest 1C/1C matrix terminations stamped into the runout grooves, which read EPMK-40594-1C 1 MH on Side A and EPMK-40595-1C 1 GH on Side B. It comes housed in its original front-laminated, flip-back picture sleeve manufactured by MacNeill Press Ltd. Adding further archival precision for collectors, the reverse of the sleeve features a clear printing date code of 10.60, confirming its production in October 1960.

We grade this item overall as Excellent/Very Good Plus (EX/VG+). The vintage laminated picture sleeve is in excellent, clean condition, showcasing incredibly crisp edges and minimal age-related discolouration. The vinyl disc remains clean and glossy, showing just a few surface marks that do not detract from the overall high quality of the recording.

Early sixties British pressings on the London label are increasingly difficult to locate with intact push-out centres and well-preserved laminated covers. This historic EP represents a fantastic addition to any rockabilly or traditional pop music collection.
