This specific December 1965 crossover text variant offers a highly compelling layout for meticulous Fab Four collectors. Swapping the formatting from previous iterations, the black-and-silver Parlophone faces present the "NORTHERN SONGS NCB" publishing credit arranged across just two lines, paired alongside the updated "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." rim text. The original four-spoke knockout hub remains flawlessly intact on this 45 rpm disc, which also features a mechanical KT tax code embossed directly into the paper on the side two label.

The sound profile utilises the preferred -4/-1 matrix combination, yielding an exceptionally punchy mono presentation. The dead wax runout grooves are machine-stamped with 7XCE 18341-4 KT 11 TT on the front and 7XCE 18342-1: KT 2 GGA on the flip side, tracking its precise Hayes factory origins. Spinning this double A-side treats listeners to the joyful acoustic-driven melodies of the primary title song, backed by the searing, overdriven guitar riff architecture of "Day Tripper" on Side AA.

We have strictly evaluated the condition of this vintage single as an honest Very Good (VG). The playing surfaces show a number of superficial surface marks under strong lights, though they avoid deep, feelable scratches. The labels have a faint name written in vintage biro ink on the Side A face. Expertly handled and graded with total transparency, this legitimate mid-sixties historical document is fully backed by our shop guarantee.
