This highly prized initial variant features the classic black Parlophone label adorned with the famous yellow logo and sharp silver typography. Serious researchers will note the vital early-press identifiers: the outer rim includes "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD." text and the "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963" statement, yet it completely lacks the later "SOLD IN U.K." notice. The four-pronged push-out centre remains beautifully intact, and a vintage KT tax code is clearly embossed into the paper on the side two label. In the dead wax, you will find the earliest stamped 1N/1N matrix paths (7TCE 762-1N and 7TCE 763-1N). The disc comes protected by its original front-laminated, flipback card cover manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse.

Beyond the blistering title track and "A Taste Of Honey" on the first side, the reverse offers magnificent performances of "Do You Want To Know A Secret" and "There's A Place".
