This British-pressed 1968 double LP offers a fantastic opportunity to own a foundational piece of rock history. This particular copy of The Beatles - The White Album (Apple Records, PCS 7067-8) is a highly desirable original UK stereo 1st pressing. It features the notable Variation 2 label layout, where the dark green Apple design includes the "Sold in U.K." text alongside the corrected "An E.M.I. Recording" print displayed across all four sides just above the speed mark.

The vinyl set is presented in its historic, top-loading Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve, completely laminated and featuring the subtle 'Stereo' indicator printed on the reverse. Stamped with the unique identification code No. 0540740, the records carry the early factory stampers with -1/-1/-2/-1 matrix variants in the runout grooves.

Externally, the outer jacket achieves a strong VG+ grading, showing minor edge creasing and light age-related discolouration but remaining structurally sound. Both vinyl discs also grade at VG+, presenting a bright appearance with a handful of superficial surface marks that do not detract from the overall quality.

The accompanying inserts are exceptionally well-kept, with the replacement black inners, individual portrait photos, and large lyric poster all arriving in clean, excellent shape. As with all of our pre-loved vinyl stock, we catalogue and evaluate these loose inserts according to their structural condition and completeness rather than their exact printing generation, as these pieces are commonly misplaced or mixed up over time. It is a wonderful copy to enjoy monumental tracks like "Dear Prudence", "Happiness Is A Warm Gun", and "Revolution 1" as they were originally meant to be heard.
