Released on the Apple Records label (Catalogue No. PCS 7067-8), this definitive early copy carries the mandatory "Sold in U.K." label text on the dark green faces but stands out due to a fascinating hybrid label variation. Sides one and two completely omit the "An E.M.I. Recording" text credit, whereas sides three and four feature the corrected text properly present above the speed indicator, representing a compelling transition copy printed during the initial manufacturing window.

The historic records are housed in their original fully laminated, top-opening gatefold picture sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, uniquely numbered 0309552 on the lower front. The jacket features the tactile blind embossed name "The BEATLES" on the front slick alongside the tiny printed "Stereo" text identifier on the rear cover. This archive item arrives complete with the foldout lyric poster insert, a set of replacement black paper inner sleeves, and the set of four colour portrait photographs. For absolute confirmation of its earliest pressing status, the dead-wax runouts display the highly coveted first-cut matrix numbers across all four sides, reading YEX 709-1 6 MM, YEX 710-1 5 MD, YEX 711-1 5 TA, and YEX 712-1 2 GDR.
