Housed in Fully Laminated Top Opening Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold Picture Sleeve with tiny 'Stereo' text on the back. Comes complete with original black inner sleeves, 4 photos and foldout poster. Condition: VG+/VG+ (Sleeve has a little discolouration and a few small laminate creases around the edges and on the top half. It has a small area of laminate loss on the spine. The black inner sleeves have minor wear. The poster and photos are in excellent clean condition. The vinyl records are in clean condition. They have a few surface marks)

This specific issue is a coveted original UK stereo 1st pressing, notable for its compelling hybrid label setup. While the initial pair of discs display the deep green Apple design with the "Sold in U.K." notice but omit the publisher credit, sides 3 and 4 display the revised "An E.M.I. Recording" line positioned directly over the speed designation.

The physical presentation is distinct, featuring the classic top-loading, fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover which carries the miniature 'Stereo' notice printed on the back. This item is numbered individually as No. 0598264 and features the highly desirable early matrix runout configuration of -2/-1/-1/-1 stamped into the dead wax.

The outer jacket achieves a strong VG+ grading, exhibiting light handling discolouration alongside a number of small laminate creases along the edges and upper section, with a minor patch of laminate lifting on the spine. Both pieces of vinyl are graded at VG+, maintaining a beautifully clean appearance despite a small number of superficial surface marks.

The internal components are beautifully preserved, featuring the original black paper inner sleeves showing only minor handling wear, alongside a clean, excellent condition set of portrait pictures and the foldout lyric sheet. As with all of our pre-loved vinyl stock, we catalogue and evaluate these loose inserts according to their structural condition and completeness rather than their exact printing generation, as these pieces are commonly misplaced or mixed up over time. It represents a fantastic opportunity to hear monumental tracks like "Glass Onion", "Blackbird", and "Helter Skelter" in their authentic, late-sixties audio form.
