Condition: VG/EX- (As with most copies, the sleeve has some wear on the spine. It has some staining across the bottom left-hand corner and next to bottom edge. There is also some staining inside the gatefold in the bottom central area. The black inner sleeves, poster and photos are in excellent clean condition. The vinyl records are in also excellent clean condition. They have a couple of minor surface marks)

An superb collector’s piece for vinyl record collectors, this is an authentic 1968 original UK numbered stereo 1st pressing of The Beatles - The White Album (Apple Records, PCS 7067-8). This rare copy features a highly coveted hybrid label variation. Sides 1 and 2 feature the dark green Apple labels with the "Sold in U.K." text but omit the "An E.M.I. Recording" credit. Meanwhile, Sides 3 and 4 include the corrected "An E.M.I. Recording" text positioned precisely above the "33 1/3" speed indicator.

True to its first-issue status, this iconic double LP is housed in the original fully laminated top-opening Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold sleeve, complete with the rare, tiny 'Stereo' print on the back. It bears the unique serial stamp No. 0472183. The ultimate vintage vinyl package, it features the -1/-1/-1/-1 matrix endings (YEX 709-1 / YEX 710-1 / YEX 711-1 / YEX 712-1), confirming the earliest possible audio master pressings from EMI’s Hayes factory.

The sleeve grades at a respectable VG with typical spine wear, corner staining, and some internal gatefold staining. Crucially, the vinyl discs remain in beautiful EX- (Excellent minus) clean condition, retaining a brilliant glossy sheen with only a couple of minor superficial surface marks.

The insert set is exceptionally well-preserved, featuring clean replacement black inner sleeves, the four glossy character photos, and the iconic foldout lyric poster in excellent condition.
