This scarce 1969 UK pressing of The Beatles - "Nowhere Man" 7" vinyl EP is an excellent find for collectors seeking transitional Parlophone label variations. Released on the Parlophone label (Catalogue No. GEP 8952), this four-track extended play features the traditional black label with a yellow logo and silver print. Crucially, this transitional 1969 variant includes "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD." rim text but lacks the "SOLD IN U.K." resale statement across the centre, which was phased out in the latter half of 1969.
The technical authenticity of this mid-year pressing is verified by the original stamped matrix runouts in the dead wax: 7TCE 904-1 RH KT 5 on Side A and 7TCE 905-1 RH KT 6 on Side B. Structurally, the record features an intact 4-pronged push-out centre design.
