This record features a fascinating 1974 European variant of the legendary final studio release from the Fab Four (PCS 7096). This specific issue is a genuine French export pressing, contract-manufactured in France by the highly regarded Pathé Marconi EMI plant for distribution back into the UK. The record displays the iconic dark green Apple labels on both sides and carries distinct continental master markings, featuring the stamped and etched M6 272601 / M6 272602 and 7096 A II / B II configurations in the runout dead wax.
The album is safely protected by its original, fully laminated British-made Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. picture sleeve, instantly recognisable by the classic four-way portrait configuration on the front and the vibrant green Apple logo printed on the rear cover.
The outer jacket achieves a neat VG+ grade, preserving a clean and glossy appearance with just some typical small laminate bubbles running parallel to the spine edge. The vinyl disc itself stands out with a fantastic EX grade, showing nothing more than light signs of play on a highly reflective surface that promises a beautiful listening experience.
It represents a superb opportunity for collectors to secure a unique, mid-seventies export pressing to enjoy definitive versions of timeless anthems like "Across The Universe", "The Long And Winding Road", and "Get Back".
