Released in March 1970 on the Apple Records label (Catalogue No. R 5833), this 45 rpm release features the iconic dark green apple label with a solid centre design.

A key identifier for this historic first issue is the unique matrix runout configuration. Side B features the famous stamped, crossed-out text A̷P̷P̷L̷E̷ ̷1̷0̷0̷2̷ ̷A̷-̷1̷, reflecting the last-minute cancellation of the planned Plastic Ono Band single before the stamper was reused for this historic release. The full stamped runouts read 7YCE 21407-1U PM KT 6 on Side A and 7YCE 21408-1U LM KT 2 on Side B.

The original matte card picture sleeve is graded in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition. It remains clean and intact, though it does exhibit typical wear along the edges, as expected for a delicate card sleeve of this vintage.
