Issued by EMI as an individual instalment within The Singles Collection 1962-1970 box set anthology, this specific pressing can be identified by the revised "EMI RECORDS LTD" manufacturer text circling the outer edge of the black-and-silver Parlophone labels. The mechanical four-spoke push-out centre has never been removed and remains fully intact.

Even though this is a seventies pressing run, the factory stamped the runouts using the original -2/-2 matrix configurations (7XCE 18280-2 and 7XCE 18281-2). This choice ensures the audio tracks deliver the same punchy mid-sixties mono mix that fans first heard in cinemas during the group's second feature-length movie movie soundtrack. The double-sider pairs the famous title track with their frantic, up-tempo rhythm and blues cover variant "I'm Down" on the reverse side.
