Offered here is an authentic 1964 British mono first pressing of the quintessential Fab Four LP, Beatles For Sale (PMC 1240). This classic mid-sixties issue features the highly sought-after black and yellow Parlophone labels, complete with the mandatory "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD." rim text and "SOLD IN U.K..." consumer notification. Crucially, this specific copy bears the distinct, embossed KT tax code on the side one label and contains the classic 3N/3N master matrix codes stamped in the runout grooves.
The vintage 33 rpm record comes nestled inside its original, laminated internal-loading gatefold sleeve manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse. The front jacket cleanly displays the recognisable outline "mono" insignia in the upper right corner. Tucked safely within, the original polylined "Emitex" inner sleeve remains intact, providing excellent protection for the delicate groove lines of this historic Merseybeat masterpiece.
From a grading perspective, the gatefold cover rates VG. The jacket remains remarkably clean, showing typical age-related wear across the spine alongside a small, neat clear tape repair on the upper spine edge. The vintage vinyl disc is graded a clean VG+, maintaining a beautiful sheen with a small handful of non-feelable cosmetic hairlines scattered across side two which do not impede audio playback.
Musically, this landmark fourth album features timeless original compositions such as "No Reply", "I'm A Loser", and "Eight Days A Week", perfectly interspersed with spirited covers of "Kansas City" and "Rock And Roll Music". Tracking with immense depth and punch, this genuine 1960s pressing delivers the warm, uncompressed analogue sound profile that music listeners and discerning record collectors actively look for.
