An great opportunity to own a 1964 United Kingdom monaural initial issue of the seminal Liverpool group's fourth long-player, Beatles For Sale (PMC 1240). The vintage piece showcases the famous yellow and black Parlophone label design, detailed with the vital "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD." text circling the rim and the standard "SOLD IN U.K..." statement across the centre. This specific pressing variation features an embossed KT tax code stamped on the side two label and carries the symmetrical 4N and 4N mastering matrix numbers visible within the runouts.

The classic 12-inch slab of wax comes housed in the original internal-loading gatefold jacket printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. The front cover proudly presents the distinctive hollow outline "mono" indicator in the corner. Fully complete with its original polylined "Emitex" protective inner liner, this entire collectable package has been beautifully preserved to keep the fragile mid-sixties musical grooves safe from dust and friction over the decades.

Evaluating the condition, the gatefold jacket warrants a solid VG grade, maintaining an exceptionally clean front and back appearance with small creases along the spine and a very small split on the lower edge. The vinyl disc also grades a reliable VG, retaining a glossy shine whilst showing a few surface marks. These signs of use will not spoil your listening enjoyment or detract from the tracking of this historical artefact.

The album features a fantastic selection of classic self-penned Lennon-McCartney tracks like "No Reply", "I'm A Loser", and "Every Little Thing", alongside a high-energy rendition of Carl Perkins' "Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby". Mastered directly for the original mono mixing consoles, this genuine 1960s pressing yields a rich, punchy, and direct analogue sound profile that modern stereo reissues simply cannot replicate for seasoned vinyl collectors.
