A superb addition for avid collectors documenting historical vinyl mastering adjustments, this 1980 UK stereo pressing of A Hard Day's Night (PCS 3058) showcases a highly intriguing runout variation. This release is defined by the standard black, silver, and white "Two EMI Box" Parlophone label format. The side one dead wax displays a notable stamping curiosity where a number 2 matrix digit is struck over an initial number 1 (YEX 126 - 2 3 55). Meanwhile, the side two dead wax carries a clean -4 master matrix strike, accompanied by its own distinct 2 17 individual stamper configuration.

The vintage album comes protected by its original glossy picture sleeve, which features the standard "stereo" header text prominently displayed on the front layout.

We grade both the outer jacket and the vinyl disc as a magnificent, matching Excellent (EX/EX). The outer cover remains beautifully bright and well-preserved, exhibiting only minimal traces of handling. The vinyl itself is exceptionally clean, retaining its glorious original mirror sheen and deep jet-black gloss. This clean, top-tier copy offers a phenomenal opportunity to acquire a crisp, highly balanced stereo presentation of these iconic 1960s pop tracks on premium, modern-weighted vinyl that boasts very quiet playback surfaces.
