An outstanding find for Beatles enthusiasts seeking the highly collectible late-sixties crossover layout, this scarce 1969 UK stereo edition of A Hard Day's Night (PCS 3058) introduces a notable design transition. This particular pressing features the short-lived, black, silver, and white "One EMI Box" Parlophone label configuration. The design displays the standard "THE GRAMOPHONE CO. LTD." rim text layout. The runout grooves carry the classic -1/-1 master matrix stamps accompanied by individual 35HL / 13PG stamper identifiers.
This classic rock record is presented in its original, front-laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. The jacket comes complete with a period-correct EMI advertising inner sleeve.
We grade the sleeve as VG. The cover displays some laminate creasing around the edges, some rubbing on the bottom right-hand corner, and some visible wear on the bottom seam. The vinyl disc itself achieves a highly desirable Excellent (EX) condition grade. The vinyl remains exceptionally clean and brilliant, showcasing its beautiful original gloss with only a few light surface marks that do not impact the visual presentation. Representing a great opportunity to secure a well-preserved example of this distinct label variant, this listing delivers superb historical value and a broad stereo soundscape.
