An essential addition for classic rock purists, this 1964 UK mono 1st pressing of The Beatles' landmark album A Hard Day's Night (PMC 1230) offers a great window into the golden age of British pop. This particular archival copy features the legendary black and yellow Parlophone label layout, carrying the required early-press text variations: "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD." rim printing, "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964", and the mandatory "Sold in U.K." label statement. The side one label is cleanly embossed with the KT tax code, paired with the highly desirable 3N/3N matrix stampers and specific 2GRR / 6GPP runout identifiers.

The mid-sixties LP comes presented in its authentic, front-laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve, which features the distinctive mid-sized "mono" branding on the front cover. It remains complete with the original, period-accurate polylined Emitex inner sleeve.

We have carefully graded the outer sleeve as Good (G). The jacket shows heavy age-related wear, including many laminate creases radiating around the edges and noticeable rubbing on the corners. The vintage vinyl disc itself earns a VG condition grade, displaying a number of surface marks across both sides from decades of handling. Despite these cosmetic signs of play, the record presents an affordable, thoroughly honest opportunity to experience the incredible punch and warmth of the original 1960s uncompressed analogue mix.
