Own an authentic piece of 1960s British mod history with this original UK 1st pressing of Small Faces - "Hey Girl". Released on Decca Records in 1966 (Catalogue No. F 12393), this highly collectable 7-inch single is the definitive sound of London's swinging beat scene.

This specific release features the iconic blue/silver unboxed Decca label, complete with the coveted "ffrr" ear logo and the vintage K/T tax code on the label. For serious vinyl collectors, the dead wax confirms its very early heritage with a genuine 1C/1C matrix stamp (XDRF-37983-T1-1C 1 DK on Side A and XDRF-37984-T2-1C 1 DI on Side B). Written by Steve Marriott and Ronnie Lane, the A-side "Hey Girl" was the band's very first self-composed top-ten smash hit, perfectly captured here in its raw, punchy, original mono mix. Spin the record over to discover the classic rhythm-and-blues-infused B-side, "Almost Grown".

This collectable 45 rpm vinyl record is graded in Very Good (VG) condition. The vinyl retains some of its original lustre but shows a few superficial surface marks typical of an authentic 1960s piece. Please note that this copy has been dinked and features a large centre, as the original 4-prong centre has been removed. This makes it absolutely ideal for jukebox play or use with a standard adapter. It plays through with that warm, nostalgic analogue sound that modern reissues simply cannot replicate.

Whether you are expanding your classic rock archive or hunting down foundational British mod vinyl, this 1st press Decca single is a fantastic, must-have addition to any daily spinner's collection. Secure this essential chunk of mid-60s counter-culture for your turntable today!
