Rockabilly collectors and fans alike will appreciate this distinct variation of the 1957 UK original 2nd pressing of the Elvis Presley with the Jordanaires - All Shook Up single. This particular copy represents a brilliant snapshot of fifties EMI production, offering an excellent combination of authentic period packaging and fascinating transitional deadwax stampers that make it highly individual compared to other second-state issues.

The record features the definitive purple His Master's Voice label styled with the clean silver print that succeeded the short-lived gold typeface. Nipper the dog remains proudly displayed on the right-hand side, and the disc retains its complete four-pronged push-out centre. Crucially, this example comes housed in its original red and white HMV company paper sleeve. The track listing captures the King at the height of his powers, delivering the legendary rhythm of "All Shook Up" paired with the bluesy, slow-tempo B-side, "That's When Your Heartaches Begin".

Examining the deadwax reveals that the pressing plant was still utilising the premier first-cut masters, evidenced by the 1N/1N matrix suffixes. The full stamped runouts read H2-WW-0256-1N X RT 1 P on Side A and H2-WW-0260-1N XT 1 GG on Side B. This specific mix of the RT and XT stamps highlights the rapid tax code adjustments taking place at the factory under Catalogue No. 45-POP 359.

The condition of this pre-owned vinyl is graded at VG/VG+. The original red and white company sleeve is intact but features clear tape running down the right-hand edge for reinforcement. The vinyl displays a few superficial surface marks but retains its original gloss. On the labels, the purple and silver design remains bright, though a previous owner has neatly written a name in biro pen across the B-side label, marking its place in mid-century social history.
