This superb mid-sixties UK extended play showcases a magnificent crossover of early rock heritage and deep Southern gospel, uniting the unmatched vocals of Elvis Presley with the rich harmonies of the Jordanaires. Released by RCA Victor under the catalogue reference RCX 101, this 1964 pressing features the distinctive silver-on-black typography and the highly collectable four-pronged centre. An essential marker for identifying this specific British vintage run is the prominent M/T tax code shown clearly the record label area.

Dead-wax enthusiasts will find the crucial identification stamps in the runout grooves, which read H2WH-1334-1C CA-H 2 C for the A-side and H2WH-1335-1C HC A-H 2 C on the flip. The disc comes protected by its original front-laminated, flipback-style picture sleeve produced by MacNeill Press Ltd, boasting the unique September 1964 printer's date code of "McN9.64" across the rear. The four-track selection offers a deeply moving listening experience, leading with "(There'll Be) Peace In The Valley (For Me)" and "It Is No Secret (What God Can Do)" on the first face, while the B-side provides stunning renditions of "I Believe" and "Take My Hand, Precious Lord".

The overall condition of both the audio format and the outer packaging warrants a solid Very Good grading. The seven-inch disc maintains an excellent gloss and looks remarkably tidy, showing only a small selection of minor surface marks that do not impede its visual appeal. The flipback jacket remains solid and intact, showing a diagonal laminate crease running through the upper right-hand corner, as well as a neat, small tape repair positioned at the bottom right-hand edge of the sleeve.
