A wonderful opportunity opens up for collectors of down-under pressings with this uncommon 1980 seven-inch extended play, highlighting the cinematic musical prowess of Elvis Presley with the Jordanaires. While these legendary movie sessions were originally issued back in 1958 during the absolute peak of the King's rock 'n' roll dominance, this scarce later reissue allows fans to experience those historic recordings with incredible clarity. Pressed in Australia for simultaneous distribution across both Australian and New Zealand territories, this RCA Victor release carries the catalogue designation 20163. This Australasian reissue is immediately recognisable by its smooth, tan-coloured paper labels and a clean, solid centre layout that makes it an eye-catching alternative to standard international editions.

Inspecting the dead wax reveals precise machine-stamped matrix information, showing J2PH 0799 B1A for the first side and J2PH 0800 D1 A for the reverse. The record comes housed inside its authentic, regionally specific wraparound picture sleeve. The track listing represents the grittier side of the King's late-fifties output, opening with the fierce blues numbers "Trouble" and "Young Dreams" on the A-side, while the B-side shifts focus to the sultry, atmospheric "Crawfish" and the uptempo energy of "Dixieland Rock".

The physical presentation of this release is very respectable, with the packaging grading as Very Good and the vinyl scoring an Excellent condition mark. The disc is beautifully preserved, displaying a bright, glossy surface free from distracting flaws. The original wraparound paper jacket remains remarkably clean and presentable, showing only a small degree of light handling wear and minor creasing along the outer edges.
