Originally recorded at Radio Recorders in Hollywood for Presley’s 1962 sports-themed musical feature film, these six timeless tracks are delivered in crisp, punchy single-channel fidelity on this 1982 United Kingdom pressing of the Kid Galahad extended play. This specific seven-inch record constitutes a vital standalone slice of the sprawling retrospective box set anthology The E.P. Collection, tracked by discographers under master cataloguing identifiers RCX 1 and EP-1. Bearing the individual reference code RCX 7197, this vintage forty-five rpm disc is fashioned with the classic four-pronged push-out centre spindle, bordered by traditional black and silver RCA typography. The vinyl is safely tucked inside a spectacular, front-laminated card sleeve designed with traditional reverse flipback seams, offering high visual appeal for collectors of historic UK manufacturing styles.

The dead-wax runouts contain premium mastering marks, highlighting the definitive A-1U and B-1U stampers. Most importantly, the lead face displays the famous "BOPPIN' BOB" signature in the runout, confirming that renowned audio engineer Bob Jones cut the lacquer to ensure maximum dynamic power for these monaural mixes. The extensive audio programme opens with the magnificent rockabilly stomp of "King Of The Whole Wide World", the driving rhythm of "This Is Living", and the acoustic swing of "Riding The Rainbow" on side one. The reverse side turns over to present the soulful ballad "Home Is Where The Heart Is" alongside the breezy pop cadences of "I Got Lucky" and "A Whistling Tune".

Our dedicated grading protocol dictates that every single item undergoes a thorough visual inspection.
