An great find for international collectors, this immaculate 2001 UK pressing offers a premium 7" extended play record reissue of the highly prized Elvis Presley - Il Re Del Rock 'N' Roll EP. Originally curated for the comprehensive box set anthology, The International EP Collection (catalogued under the primary reference ELVIS 105), this 7-inch vinyl release stands as a precise facsimile of the King's historic initial release from Italy in 1957. It faithfully presents the original European tracklist and distinct foreign art direction under its definitive historical catalogue number, A72V 0073.

This specific pressing replicates the unique overseas aesthetic beautifully, featuring prominent visual identifiers that distinguish it for collectors. The glossy card Italian picture sleeve displays the iconic phrase "A 'New Orthophonic' High Fidelity Recording" emblazoned across the top front cover, while the lower back sleeve features the distinct numbers "2-57 2000". The record itself boasts a sharp black and silver RCA Victor label design with a robust solid centre configuration. These unique labels carry a distinct layout and numbering sequence, crucially featuring the text "Recording first published 1956" positioned on the left-hand side.

Both the vinyl and the outer jacket are strictly graded in EX/EX (Excellent/Excellent) condition, promising an incredibly clean visual display alongside supreme acoustic playback quality. For enthusiasts tracking exact pressing variations, the runouts on this copy are cleanly hand etched with the ELVIS 105 VINYL 4 A1 and ELVIS 105 VINYL 4 B1 matrix markers.

The musical content captures early rockabilly at its absolute peak, featuring a tracklist that serves as a phenomenal crossover bridge for enthusiasts tracking rare global releases vs standard U.S. or USA configurations. Side A features the high-energy drive of "I Got A Woman" alongside the iconic rhythm of "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down And Cry (Over You)". Flipping the wax over to Side B reveals two more legendary recordings, launching with the swing of "Just Because" and closing out with the timeless, intense vocal delivery of "Tryin' To Get To You". It is a gorgeous addition for anyone looking to represent early U.S. music history through a vintage continental lens.
