A wonderful variation for dedicated British vinyl completionists, this early extended play issue documents the smooth transition of RCA’s label design during the peak of the King’s sixties movie era. While this soundtrack collection debuted on the UK market in 1962, this authentic 1963 pressing on the updated RCA Victor imprint carries the distinct small silver spot/dot logo positioned neatly beneath the main horizontal silver line. The seven-inch disc retains its classic four-pronged round push-out centre and features the historic Z/T purchase tax code stamped onto the label face.

Looking closely at the runout reveals that this copy was pressed using the premier initial lacquer cuts, carrying the machine-stamped 1C/1C matrix data in the runout grooves, which reads N2PH-1603-1C 1 IU H on the first face and N2PH-1604-1C 1 1 KA H on the flip. The record comes beautifully protected in its original front-laminated flipback picture jacket manufactured by Robert Stace. The four tracks perfectly highlight the melodic charm of the cinematic release, offering "Follow That Dream" and "Angel" on the initial side, before moving into the sunny optimism of "What A Wonderful Life" and "I'm Not The Marrying Kind" on the second side.

The preservation of this vintage release is really nice, with the outer sleeve achieving a Very Good Plus grading and the vinyl earning a fantastic Excellent condition rating. The disc itself is beautifully clean and bright, maintaining an intense, mirror-like gloss with no major flaws. The original picture sleeve looks remarkably fresh, presenting a beautifully glossy laminated front panel with just a touch of minor, natural handling creasing across the lower left-hand corner.
