A great find for Elvis fans and collectors, this seven-inch extended play stands as another genuine UK first pressing capturing the cinematic music of Elvis Presley. Released by RCA in 1962 under the catalogue identifier RCX-211, this top-tier variant features the iconic black and silver paper labels presenting the early large silver spot/dot logo at the twelve o'clock position. The physical record preserves its original four-pronged knockout centre, with the historical Z/T purchase tax code visible on the label surface to certify its initial production era.
A look at the dead wax confirms its pedigree, with machine-stamped matrix details showing the premier N2PH-1603-1C 1 CI H on the opening side and N2PH-1604-1C 1 UA H on the second side, locking this copy down into the highly desirable 1C/1C master lacquer run. The record is packaged in its authentic front-laminated flipback picture jacket manufactured by Robert Stace. The tracks provide four outstanding performances from the movie soundtrack, opening with the bright title song "Follow That Dream" and the romantic ballad "Angel" on Side A, followed by "What A Wonderful Life" and "I'm Not The Marrying Kind" on Side B.
The physical state of this classic item is very commendable, qualifying for a matching Very Good Plus grade on both the vinyl and the record sleeve. The outer picture sleeve looks reasonably clean and bright, showing a single diagonal laminate crease passing across the upper left-hand corner. The seven-inch disc itself looks tidy, carrying a rich glossy surface with a few surface marks that do not take away from its great collectable quality.
