A really great find for Elvis fans, this 1962 seven-inch extended play represents a definitive UK first pressing from Elvis Presley's popular cinematic catalogue. Issued on the RCA imprint under the catalogue identifier RCX-211, this incredible piece features the highly collectable black paper label adorned with the rare large silver spot/dot logo positioned proudly at the top. The physical disc retains its original four-pronged round push-out centre and displays the visible Z/T purchase tax code clearly on the label surface.
Confirming its absolute premier status on the production floor, the runout grooves carry the definitive machine-stamped 1C/1C matrix variants, reading N2PH-1603-1C 1 H H ZT on the first side and N2PH-1604-1C 1 K H ZT on the reverse. The EP comes beautifully protected in its original front-laminated flipback picture sleeve printed by the renowned Robert Stace. The tracklist is an essential collection of cinematic tunes, kicking off with the upbeat title track "Follow That Dream" and the beautiful ballad "Angel" on the A-side, whilst the B-side delivers the cheerful energy of "What A Wonderful Life" and "I'm Not The Marrying Kind".
The physical preservation of this vintage piece is nice, with the outer packaging grading at a reasonable Very Good Plus and the vinyl achieving a magnificent Excellent condition mark. The seven-inch disc looks incredibly fresh, maintaining an intense, deep sheen and a beautifully clean surface free from any distracting visual flaws. The vintage Robert Stace jacket remains remarkably robust and tidy, with just a few small, natural spots of age discolouration visible.
