How does Planet Earth Records grade vinyl?
We adhere strictly to a universally accepted grading standard to guarantee absolute transparency. Every record is play-tested on calibrated turntables before final grading:

How do you protect my records during transit?
We treat every LP like a delicate piece of musical history. We utilise a specialised multi-layered packing method to completely eliminate transit damage:
- Seam Split Prevention: To prevent the vinyl from cutting through the jacket edges during transport, we remove the record from its original inner sleeve and place it into a separate, anti-static poly-inner sleeve.
- Dual Housing: The record, original jacket, and protective inner sleeve are nested together inside a heavy-duty, poly-lined outer sleeve.
- Deflection Stiffeners: Every parcel is sandwiched between multiple rigid 12" x 12" cardboard stiffener boards to eliminate any possibility of bending or warping.
- Reinforced Mailers: Your entire package is sealed inside custom, heavy-duty, reinforced card record mailers designed to withstand rigorous international postal systems.
- Secure Labelling: Every order features fully tracked shipping details and a clear return address, explicitly stamped with "Fragile / Do Not Bend" instructions for postal couriers.

1. How much is shipping, and do you deliver internationally?
We offer free postage and packaging within the UK on all orders. For our global network of collectors, we ship worldwide using fully tracked and insured courier services. International shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on destination and weight.

Orders are securely packed and dispatched from our Coventry vault within 24 to 48 hours of payment, Monday to Friday. As soon as your parcel is handed over to the courier, a tracking link will be automatically emailed to you so you can monitor its journey.
