This 1991 British maxi-single offers an outstanding example of early nineties club culture, taking one of the standout tracks from the band's Abracadabra studio album and completely transforming it for the underground dance floor. By recruiting the legendary Italian house group Black Box to remix the song, the Sheffield synth-pop mainstays swapped their traditional polished pop arrangements for an infectious house hybrid driven by heavy rhythms and massive piano lines. The four versions presented across this record provide a comprehensive club package, headlined by the iconic vocal presentation of "Say It (The Black Box Mix)" and its accompanying rhythm-centric version, "Say It (The Black Box Instrumental)".

This genuine UK original edition, pressed by Parlophone under the catalogue number 12R6298, carries the highly collectible A-1U/B-1U matrix numbers in the runout grooves. Audiophiles will instantly spot the hand-scribed "BAZZA" inscription in the side A dead wax, identifying the craftsmanship of legendary British cutting engineer Barry Grint. The second side shifts perspective with two further variations: the chord-heavy "Say It (The Black Box Piano-Forte Mix)" and the deep, electronic textures of "Say It (The Abracadabra Mix)", which bridges the gap back to the track's album roots.

The condition of this archive copy is officially rated as VG/EX overall. Both sides of the analogue vinyl are brilliantly clean and glossy, promising a deep, powerful soundstage that handles the heavy basslines perfectly. The vintage picture sleeve does show its age with some noticeable creasing across the bottom corners from handling. It represents a nice opportunity for ABC fans to acquire a clean-playing copy of a quintessential nineties UK club crossover.
